Cover Reveal – The Three Date Rule

I’m very excited about releasing my first contemporary romance novel on 15 November.

This has been a labour of love, beginning exactly three years ago when one afternoon I decided I wanted to write a short story with a Christmas theme. I woke the following morning with the characters, Ryan and Kate, dancing around in my head, along with some key scenes. But once I started writing, the story kept growing. It took on a life of its own and went way beyond a short story. The whole process from putting the first words on paper to the publishing stage has been an incredible learning curve for me as an aspiring writer and a wonderful opportunity to improve my skill. For a start, after the first draft the manuscript needed a LOT of revisions, far too many, to get it into shape because I pantsed rather than plotted. Being part of the Romance Writers of Australia made it all possible. I’m thankful for the people I’ve met who gave feedback, support and encouragement and the competitions, again offering feedback and encouragement, were invaluable as were the various courses I attended.

Anyway, it’s now finished and ready to be sent out so others can experience Kate and Ryan’s story. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Here’s the blurb.

He’s an intriguing billionaire, but she’s learned the hard way that men like him can’t be trusted.

When wealthy property entrepreneur, Ryan Jensen, collides with emotionally scarred single mum, Kate Morgan, he’s shaken by a premonition of her as his bride. Experience tells Kate he’s bad news, but she figures one night of passion will get their sizzling attraction out of her system. But Ryan has good reason for his “three date” rule —no sex until the third date— and he’s not about to break it for anyone. From the thrill of the Melbourne Cup, to glittering Christmas Markets in Austria, and the ski slopes of Switzerland, can Ryan overcome his own scars and win her love?

A sexy game of rules … and breaking them, and a Christmas they will never forget.
